More than two decades of partnership with Toyota has enabled NEEF to strengthen public lands and connect communities to these spaces by growing our annual National Public Lands Day service event and making grants—from biodiversity conservation to COVID recovery—to local organizations. Niagara Bottling LLC and NEEF are founding partners of Discovery Education's upcoming Sustainability Education Initiative (SEI), which seeks to empower over 10 million students to take action for economic and environmental sustainability, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
NEEF partnered with Leidos for the climate mental health project, which aims to support teachers in helping students process emotions related to climate change. Leidos also partnered with NEEF for employee days of service in several US cities, benefiting public lands.
NEEF and the PPG Foundation partnered to implement Greening STEM projects in middle schools in Pittsburgh, PA and East Point, GA, focusing on engaging students in STEM and environmental education.
NEEF and the Danaher Foundation partnered to implement Greening STEM projects in middle schools in the metropolitan regions of Washington, DC and Boston, focusing on engaging students in STEM, environmental education, and video storytelling.
Arconic Foundation funded Greening STEM projects in the Quad Cities (Iowa and Illinois), Blount County, TN, and Lancaster, PA, engaging middle schoolers in prairie restoration, water quality, biodiversity, and more. NEEF and International Paper partnered to design hourly employee engagement strategies promoting sustainability and community engagement in US operations. Additionally, they supported nearby public lands with employee volunteerism on National Public Lands Day and regranting initiatives. Learn more.
Albemarle Foundation partnered with NEEF for an employee day of service in Magnolia, AR and supported a Greening STEM project engaging youth in the same city.
