2021 National Public Lands Day Department of Defense Awards

In commemoration of National Public Lands Day (NPLD), the Department of Defense—through the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Environment and Energy Resilience and the Legacy Resource Management Program—will fund NPLD projects on military lands that are open for recreation.

The 2021 NPLD DoD Awards will provide up to $7,000 to selected installations to implement natural and cultural resources management, restoration, and/or enhancement projects on or around National Public Lands Day on September 25, 2021.
