Kelley V. Phillips works as the Program Coordinator, Conservation at NEEF. In her role, she supports events and initiatives that provide opportunities for myriad communities to deepen connections with public lands. Kelley holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science in Park and Resource Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Combined with a background in environmental education, Kelley works to engage all ages in fostering an enthusiasm for nature. Kelley has worked for environmental nonprofits since 2012 in Oahu, Hawaii, San Antonio, Texas, and Muncie, Indiana. Her roles in community outreach include outdoor recreation, sustainability, climate action, and preserving our nation’s land and waters. She is a Certified Interpretive Guide and was awarded a Medal of Civilian Service by the U.S. Army for her work engaging military families in outdoor recreation. Kelley enjoys leisurely hiking and biking, and volunteers for a local environmental education center. 

Kelley is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
