David Martin

David Martin supports the Development team and is responsible for prospect research, gift processing, donor acknowledgements, and assisting with database management and data integrity. Prior to joining NEEF, David worked as a grants specialist for the City of Norman in Oklahoma where he sought out funding opportunities to address homelessness in the community through federal grants and individual giving – collaborating with local nonprofits to ensure the were no gaps in service or funding. David received a BA in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma where he assisted with the creation of a campus-wide implicit bias training and advocated for university policy changes regarding environmental issues. He has always been passionate about making a positive impact and enjoys finding creative ways to do so. In his free time, David spends his time baking, making pottery, and caring for his ever-growing indoor plant collection.
