Christy Haas-Howard, Program Director for Health at the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 17 years as a registered nurse in school settings. Asthma educator-certified since 2009, she has led impactful school-based asthma programs at local and state levels and actively contributed to national initiatives to enhance school nurses' knowledge and skills. With a BA in Economics, a BS in Nursing, and an MPH, Christy's diverse credentials underscore her commitment to health equity and environmental justice in her collaborative work with NEEF‘s Conservation and K-12 education teams.

Grants Administration Director

Whitney Shuttleworth is the Director of Grant Administration at the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF). She brings over two decades of environmental and administrative expertise to her role. With a Bachelor of Philosophy in Environmental Studies and a Master of Public Administration, she holds a Certified Administrative Professional designation and a Permaculture Design Certificate. Whitney's extensive experience in public finance, agriculture, and environmental education, combined with her commitment to collaborative initiatives, underscores her proficiency in grant administration and her dedication to promoting positive environmental awareness and change.
