Shannon Steinbauer

Shannon Steinbauer, RN BSN MPH- is the special assistant to the director for the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. She has been with OLHCHH for 8 years. Shannon previously led local and state efforts for Lead and Healthy Homes activities in the State of Kansas. She has a dedication to public service and shares personal experience in educating and assisting communities meet goals and connecting them to resources for housing and health improvement priorities.  Shannon’s expertise originates from assisting lead poisoned children and their families in their homes to State and Federal policy making.
